Nottinghamshire’s Pupil Premium Self/Peer Audit Tool has been designed and developed with the help of local schools and partners as part of Nottinghamshire’s well-established ‘Closing the Educational Gaps’ Strategy which aims to ensure all children and young people have the opportunity to fulfil their potential whatever their background. The purpose of this audit is to provide school leaders (and governors) with a self or peer evaluation framework to evaluate the impact of use of Pupil Premium funding to raise the attainment, achievements and aspirations of children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in their school. Schools are encouraged to adapt the audit tool templates to suit their school’s needs and auditing approach.
