Welcome to our ‘2019 Doing What Matters Conference for Designated Teachers for Children in Care.’ This day will bring together the expertise of our staff in schools with three inspirational, world renowned speakers and trainers who all have direct experience of the care system. The aim of our conference is for Designated Teachers to gain further knowledge and practical strategies to support their role in schools.

Description

This Conference offers attendees the chance to hear and learn from three inspirational Key Note Speakers: Sir John Timpson, Lisa Cherry and Luke Rogers. There will also be a series of workshops led by Teachers, Head Teachers, Educational Psychologists, Care Leavers and Trainers that will provide delegates with practical ideas and guidance to support young people both in care and previously in care in schools and settings
