Doing What Matters: Relationships That Count (NOW POSTPONED)
Welcome to our 2020 Doing What Matters Conference for Designated Teachers for Children in Care. This day will bring together the expertise of our staff in schools with two inspirational, world renowned speakers and trainers who all have direct experience of the care system. The aim of our conference is for Designated Teachers to gain further knowledge and practical strategies to support their role in schools.
Physical intervention and CRB training is provided through the local authority co-ordinator. These courses provide participants with an insight into recent legislation and guidance that could impact on policy and practice as well as a range of physical and non-physical strategies to help manage the risks posed by children and young people's behaviour
CRB Update Training
CRB update training is for staff who have accessed CRB training in the previous 12 months
The Statutory Role of the Designated Teacher for Looked After and Previously Looked After Children
This training is provided by the Nottinghamshire Virtual School for Children Looked After or Previously Looked After.
The training will provide an opportunity to explore the Statutory Role of the Designated Teacher for Looked after Children and includes the extended role for children previously in Care.
Building relational Schools: Becoming Attachment Aware and Trauma Informed -INVITE ONLY
Three days training delivered by the Educational Psychology Service - there is no charge for this training. Please bring your own lunch. INVITE ONLY
